I was just checking my email and saw that FedEx had delivered my package.  Really ... ?  I hadn't heard the doorbell.   The notice said the package was signed for by "Behindbush" ... I kid you not.

So I opened the front door and there's this big FedEx sticker on my mailbox ... for everyone going by my house to see ... which said "package is behind bush."  !!!

I believe you!!!  I had the driver that just left mine on the street below the mailbox because he didn't want to walk down the driveway. (Did I mention that I have two neighbors who "borrow" my Sunday paper?) Honestly.....you just have to shake your head with this stuff.

Clever - but aggravating.

Okay that is not funny but it is funny.  Snap a pic and send it to Fedex with a polite recommendation you applaud the driver's effort but he kind of defeated the purpose with a public announcement.

It must be the week for it!   Earlier this week I had one from USPS NOT delivered as it was scanned 'animal interference' (a lie).   Odd how, since the letter carrier did come up to my house and deliver my neighbor's mail into my mailbox.   Yet, apparently, a herd of animals showed up precluding delivery of any of MY mail, not to mention my pkg (got it the next day).

Yesterday I had a UPS paracel delivered and it was scanned 'Met Customer Boy'.   Huh?   It was dropped on my porch.  There were no humans or animals out there.  Just a UPS guy dropping the parcel.

Oh that is too funny.  What was that guy thinking?

Many years ago, UPS delivered a package of Wolferman's treats to my back deck at Christmas time.  We do not use that deck all winter.

The sender of the gift called to see if I received the package...I told her no.

A day or two later, I noticed my dog, who was begging to be let out, chewing on something on the deck. He chewed a hole into the cardboard box and ate a pack of muffins that were frozen stiff.  That box must have been under a bench on the deck for about a week. There was snow on my deck a foot high and no human foot prints through it.

That is the first time anyone has ever walked into my back yard, climbed up the steps to my deck and left a package hidden under a bench so it couldn't be seen.

I think they must hire a lot of temporary employees who are missing a few marbles for the holiday deliveries.

I thought about doing just that ... along with a piece of my mind; but then I remembered I'd already used up that piece for this season.

Not so funny, though ... when I put on my jacket and walked down to the "bush," it was apparent the box could readily be seen by anyone walking toward my house ... grrrr!

I don't mean to laugh but that is dumbest thing I heard all week.  Why didn't he just leave it on the sidewalk with big  "take this package!" sign on it.  It's that time of year and delivery people are under pressure but they still need to stop and think.  UPS tried to deliver a package to my upstairs neighbor at 9pm last night.  I could see them on the stairs, they didn't ring my bell but I buzzed them in.  I thought they would leave the two package by the mailbox or perhaps go up and leave them at her door.  They went up with the packges and knocked.  They came back down with the packages.  They didn't leave them inside near the mailboxes.  They went back out and left them on the outside landing.  LOL  Why?  I cannot tell you.  It made no sense at all since they had been inside.  Why not leave them inside?   While I pondered if I should pull the packages inside, my neighbor came home and retrieved them.

I had two orders from Amazon come up as " handed to resident" on my order history.  They were left on my front porch as no one was home when they arrived.
