Oh my gosh, how could I have forgotten "Overboard" and "Dirty Dancing"???

 

I see Overboard and that's it, I stop, get it back to the beginning and watch it once more!

With few exceptions, I could have listed most all of Sidney's movies, but the list would be too long ... this one, though, with its top-notch, exceptional cast (Claudia McNeil, Ruby Dee, Louis Gossett, Jr), makes it my all-time favorite.

2001 A Space Odyssey!

 

Blew me away first time I saw it--the long roadshow version when it came out!  Absolutely blew me away, and still does!  Saw both of them on the huge screen (Panavision?) too one time.
