No kind. Camping is not my idea of a vacation. The great outdoors is amazing but after I have seen what I want to see, I want to go back to my luxury hotel with the jacuzzi, a lovely restaurant with bar, room service. Perhaps even a pool.

Those of you that don't like camping aren't doing it right. We have a 27ft. Trailor. And we love it. You have to customize it to you likes and tastes. Our bed is more comfortable than the one at home.Better than those tables you sleep on at hotels. You can eat anything time or anything you want not whats on the menu. Watch movies. Build a fire, talk about memories. Seriously it's the most relaxing thing you'll ever do. The camp grounds here in Utah are in the pines spread apart from other campers. We can't wait.
Besides it beats having to hear the person next door showering at 4:00 in the morning, or doors slamming, I hate that the worst.

I laughed at your response.
My BIL used to take my nephews camping, but there had to be a hotel nearby for my sister!
My idea of roughing it is not bringing my curling iron!![]()

DH and I love tent backpacking. We only what we could pack in, even our big dogs packed in their own food. Very careful to leave the spot looking as if no one had been there, no hacking down trees, pack out the trash, etc.
After many years, our favorite place in the Blue Ridge was turned into a camping site with electricity, picnic tables, etc. We spent one very LONG night there wedged between two huge RVs, one who ran generator all night, and one who ran generator and played honky tonk music all night. Around 3 AM, DH said, ‘You know, we could have more quiet and more nature at home.’ At daylight, we packed up and left.
Now we camp at home, in the forest, with our own clean creek.
Fun while it lasted.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 , I so agree. Last time i went camping, I was in the Girl Scouts.
We had to wake up at the crack of dawn, sit on the wet (dew) grass and sing camp songs. I couldn't wait to get home. I got lucky as we were playing baseball one afternoon and i stepped on a piece of wood with a nail. I couldn't walk, so home I went.
I was a happy non-camper!!!

I never camp, but my daughter in Colorado camps all the time.
In fact she has a huge tent on the top of her car. It opens up, has a ladder, etc.
It cost $2,000. How would I know? Because I paid for the thing. She says it was worth it, I’ll take her word for it. 🤔🙄
