WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Toyota Motor said on Monday it is urging the owners of 50,000 older U.S. vehicles to get immediate recall repairs because an air bag inflator could explode and potentially kill motorists.

The Japanese automaker said the "Do Not Drive" advisory covers some 2003-2004 model year Corolla, 2003-2004 Corolla Matrix, and 2004-2005 RAV4s with Takata air bag inflators.

We bought our first brand new car back in 2002 .a Kia Rio and my wife loved the Kia shortage from then. We have bought 2 more Kia Rios and the last one was 16years old and a woman made a turn into incoming traffic and my wife hit her and our car was totaled. My wife was banged up bit ok.so June 25th 2022 my wife finally got her new 2023 Kia shortage and she loves it. Kia had just totally redesigned the shortage and made it bigger and alot nicer.so it was the perfect time to buy a new car.19 months later and she still loves it.

My little 2021 Bronco Sport was totalled when I was rear-ended in Dec

Fortunately, there were no injuries!  I liked it so much it was replaced with a 2024 version. Perfect for where I live and it has many upgrades from the original one that was wrecked. I wanted a pick-up to haul horses with, but my husband convinced me we don't need two trucks. Thrilled to have my new vehicle on the road again! And this one has a moon roof!

@I am still oxox   We hava a 2010 Chevy Tahoe. Bought it used, (one owner) 4 years ago. It is immaculate and we love it. Four wheel drive, lots of room and way too many comfort options to mention. It is by far the most comfortable vehicle we have owned. It will go any and everywhere in the snow and has removable third row seating. If you can find a good vehicle with a great maintenance record, I would not hesitate to buy used. Always ask for a Carfax so you can see the entire history and maintenance record of the vehicle. My primary vehicle is a Subaru Crosstrek. I'm still getting used to it but it serves my purpose with regard to being a great car to run around town in. Recently we got 3 inches of very slippery snow and it performed like a mini-tank! No slipping, sliding, spinning. Around curves, up and down some steep roads, always felt like I had total control! 👍😁

I also have a Chevy truck but only use it when hauling.

We only buy Toyotas.  2012 Prius and 2020 Rav4. 

Great cars never had a problem.

I have a 2013 Chevy Equinox bought new, paid for and just reached 90,000 miles a few weeks ago. It rides like new, love it !  I don't drive it much since I retired in 2016 and I worked from home for 4 yrs after I bought it so I didn't drive it much for the first 4 yrs. I bought it with SiriusXM radio and CD player included. It's very roomy. I don't like the newer body styles of the Equinox and will be keeping this one as long as possible.

Paid $ 25,000 with leather seats.

Have under, way under 100,000 miles.

It is a 2005 and still going strong with regular Toyota maintenance.

Nothing fancy, but reliable.

Brand new F250 truck (drive everyday), 2009 California Special white Mustang (we store it throughout the winters) and a 1970 Oldsmoble 442 classic car in red of course! (Strickly summer use).
