What is wrong with QVC's Order Status

Checked my account and discovered I ordered the wrong size and tried to change the order that was placed 2 hours earlier. Couldn't change the order, couldn't cancel as said it was in the process of shipping. Called the 800# and wouldn't let me cancel. Meanwhile I have orders in the process that have sat there for days. On a wait list order I have it states "can't ship as no address on account". Looked at the order and my address was on there. Now if you look at an item there is no shipping/handling listed for an item. You have to physically put it in your cart to see the shipping. What the heck is going on? Not going to order anymore until they straighten out the issues. Guess that's why Amazon gets so much of my business.

Did you call Customer Service? They should be able to straighten things out.

My address is now listed but called Customer Service and they couldn't cancel the order. They said they'd refund shipping/handling but irritated with the whole process. Today I clicked on the TSV from yesterday and it's $9 higher. Usually the TSV price is $3-5 higher not $9 on a $35 item. I am betting they will be offering the reduced shipping prices in the future but jacked the prices up on all their items.

this happened to me too. When I called CS, I was told that there was nothing they could do about it. ${#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}$ They did not offer to pay return shipping for me. I believe this is a new and underhanded method to prevent you from canceling an order, making it more likely that you will keep an item rather than pay to ship it back.

I have also had items sit "in process" for days. I presume they are holding the sale here, also.

If I can't cancel an order and it ships anyway, I don't pay for return shipping. I hand it unopened back to the UPS driver and tell him to return to sender.

You have to be home when they deliver, to do that. I am almost never home when they deliver packages.

You can give it to any driver or take it to a UPS Store.

Try canceling the next day on the internet. I've tried canceling an order shortly after I placed it and I can't and I think it's because it's going thru their system and being entered in the computer. After the first 8 or so hours, the order sits for a few days waiting to be shipped, it's at that time when you can cancel it. Try it.

You don't have to be home to give the package back to the UPS person, just DON'T open it. As long as you don't open the package, you can take it to UPS for a free return. They will use the same tracking number to send it back. I've done this before with no problems.
