What is the one hardest or worst things you have gone through in your life?

From childhood on. I have to say for me the period of time as a 12 year old girl when my parents were fighting horribly and the divorce that followed. My Mother left us with my Father. To this day I still feel hurt, sadness, and betrayal. You would think I would be over it!
