A little back story. I get many compliments on my handwriting/art but I don't appreciate it as others do--primarily because I know what I have to do to achieve the outcome. Well, that was a nice compliment, I admire your talent. Are you trying to paint watercolors like the Impressionist painters, the lilyponds, etc? That truly seems like flowy work, doesn't it?

My SIL stopped in to say hello, saw my new vacuum in its box, assembled it and vacuumed my living room! It was so adorable of her to do this. She was excited at how nice it was! BTW it is a Shark and I love it. Adore my SIL!

What a wonderful family, your daughter is right, the grands are blessed to have you to care for them. I have very fond memories of the happy times I spent with my grandma (and gramps) while I was growing up. I know yours will feel the same.

Last night I saw several people I hadn't seen in over 30 years. These were guys I used to play with in a band starting when I was 14. One of them I met when I was 10. I grew up with these guys and was always the only girl around. It was highly unusual back then to have a girl in a band. At least locally. They always had my back.

It was amazing how all the years simply fell away and the care we each had for the other came back like we had seen each other yesterday. Hugs and kisses all around. And a promise to stay much closer.
