Received a call this morning from my sis in law, while at the gym. This is the first time I've talked and walked (treadmill) but my sis had great news. She has now lost 40 pounds and is wearing size 12 pants. Ten more pounds to go! She's been heavy since age 30 and it's a joy to see her tackle something that's made her so unhappy. She's shopping today!

That is worth a smile for sure. Wishing your sis (and you) a long, healthy life ! It sounds like you have a very loving relationship and that is good to see.

Relieved that my arthroscopic knee surgery is over with. It was done yesterday. Onward to rehab. And looking at my kitteh Zoe sleeping. She makes me smile.

Just came from my cousins college graduation. She started a long time ago, didn't finish, married with 2 girls. She has severe RA, she was afraid she wouldn't make the walk and then up the stairs to receive her diploma but she did it grinning from ear to ear, so proud of her.

Yesterday was my intern's last day at work. (He's a 21 year old guy.) He surprised me and gave me a great big hug goodbye at the end of the day. (He's a bit shy, so I was pleasantly caught off guard.) I honestly thought he might shed a tear.

Aww, that is sweet. You obviously made a very positive impact on his life and I am sure he won't forget you.

Thank you, milkbunny. You are kind. Yes, I'm close to my SIL. She was 16 when I met her. I was 19. The cousins are very close. My SIL and her brother, my husband, went on a mission trip to Nicaragua in June. They have become good friends over the years. I treasure her friendship.
