What is Going On ?

My sister and her beau came over this evening for dinner. Since she is a big fan of Quacker Factory I turned it on for her and was surprised and dissappointed by Antoinella. She was loud and sounded like Rick, ie used car salesmen. I seldom if ever watch QVC, if I see a program I am interested in I record it and fast forward through it so I really don't hear the hosts. Well, the last time I heard Antoinella, she sounded normal, not like she did this evening! My sister, who watches QVC on a regular basis told me all of the hosts are starting to get a desperate sound to their voice, louder and more of an aggresive sales pitch. So I am not bashing any host, I am bashing QVC for trying to turn them into obnoxious sales people. The host are just trying to earn a living, so I don't fault them for doing whatever they are told to keep their job. Maybe this is why Lisa Mason left.

My sister was saying she isn't watching QVC very much anymore because of this. How do you ladies feel about this? Are we off base or on target?
