Try blueapron.com. Step by step instructions for beginners. Hope it's okay to mention that "link"!
I am not a beginner chef, but like all the new recipes and ingredients I get to try by getting their shipments.
My stepdaughter, who has seldom ever eaten anything that didn't come in a fast food bag, is doing good with them, too.

We will have you cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 12 people by this time..next week!
(now give me some good emoties, so I can end my post with something more fitting than an exclamation point)

Here's an easy recipe for you..roasted chicken with orange juice, honey and cumin
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup of honey
tablespoon of Cumin
salt and pepper to taste
wash your chicken inside and out
rub salt and pepper all over the chicken
whisk honey, orange juice and honey in bowl
set your oven to 350 degrees
spoon some of your liquid over the chicken before placing into oven
just about every twenty minutes, baste/spoon the mixture over your chicken
because of the sugar, your chicken will turn a nice caramel colored brown
done
server with yellow rice or (gasp) boxed couscous.

@Wayne-QVC I stopped myself from telling you to check the chicken with a meat thermometer...but when it's brown, it's done. ![]()

This is nice, chatting with the moderators. I know they can't be on here all day and chat, but it's nice when they do. Glad to see that Keyai is doing well. Cheers to all the moderators and administrators. And happy Thanksgiving to you all. ![]()
