That's a very good cake! You should try making it one day and post a pic.The only savory dish I have comes from the local grocery store

I guess I'm considered the resident chef.
I'm often called upon to make cake, lasagna, white chicken chili and any others dishes that I create where a "guinea pig" is needed.
Wayne's dishes are often box made and have very little taste to them. You definitely will not get hign blood pressure from his meals.
This has really turned out to be a fun thread and this is what our community forums is all about. I LOVE IT!!
@Melvin-QVC Ok Melvin now you did it. I want your lasagna recipe. You can put it under the recipe forum and title it Melvin's Lasagna.

Hi @september,
I'm still here! My shift is during normal business hours but I am a bit of a work-a-holic so it is not unusual for me to login in during the evening or over the weekend. My job is to make the Community experience the best it can be and increase the participation. Which means I have a lot of work to do with our technical engineers behind-the-scenes to address problems you have with the platform today.
Thanks to others in this thread for the kind words about me. It is always nice to be liked! Though you might like me less than the moderation team if you knew I am one of the few "responsible" for the overall Community experience.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
Keyai..nice to hear back from you and learn you're still part of the team. If you're most often here during normal business hours...well, that's when I'm not usually here!
I didnt realize how many people also appreciated you...but wow...I see lots of new comments tonight. Haven't read them all yet, but scanned through.

I like to have a bit of light-hearted fun when I come to a forum, so I am glad that I could put a smile on your face, Wayne. ![]()

Hi september, I like him too.
I am sorry to see that a pleasant thread you started has morphed elsewhere.
i think there are a lot of positive reptiles, although I'm just catching up now. I ignore the ones that I want to ignore!

@Allegheny that's a tough one. When it comes to lasagna, I really don't have a recipe. I have taken a basic old recipe and "kicked it up a notch". I usually mix ground beef, ground turkey, some sort of beef sausage and scramble in some hot sausage that comes in the sleeve or wrapper. Mix those together with tomato/spaghetti sauce of your choice, italian seasoning, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, crushed red peppers (spoonful) crushed garlic and season to taste. After the sauce has simmered for about 2 hours ( I like for mine to simmer on low) or if you make the sauce the day before, it locks in the flavor and tastes even better the next day. I combine ricota cheese, cottage cheese (small curds) 1 egg, black pepper and parmesan cheese to make a sort of spread for layering. In your baking dish layer meat sauce , noodles, your spread mix, various shredded cheeses and continue to make several layers of this. I like mine to be about 5 layers of noodles, meat sauce etc. Bake at about 350 degrees for about 30 - 40 minutes... You may or may not want to cover the dish. After baking, this goes great with a nice salad and garlic bread. Enjoy!!
( I will also place this in recipes for your viewing pleasure)
