Favorite: Rock

Least Favorite: Anything hip hop/rap....country (not a fan, it all sounds alike to me), and heavy metal

tansy - regarding classical music...maybe you are like me and enjoy short movements or familiar sections rather than an entire piece. I don't like the loud raucous parts that go all discordant. I love the soft pretty parts like Claire de Lune and Fur Elise. So many other beautiful pieces of classical music that I have learned to love. But like you, I kept trying.

What I truly can't stand is chamber music. Ugh! And what I usually truly love is soft Nu-Age y stuff. We call it sleepy time music, lol!

Favorite: All rock(hard rock, glam rock, alternative rock, classic rock), some pop, and the blues

Least favorite: country and rap

I own a little of everything though, even some of my least favorite genres. I have an eclectic variety in my collection.

Least favorite: hate (yes I said it!) country music. Dislike gospel.

Most: Everything except country. My faves are jazz, Latin salsa, 90s girl music (Sinead, Sarah, Natalie, Paula, Sheryl, etc.)

ETA: My two favorite bands are PINK MARTINI and the B-52s. Smile

ETA (again): I take back what I said about country. I do like it when I do line dancing. Smile Boot scootin' boogie.

Least: Country. and Western.

Favorites: The Blues (any kind), Sting, Steely Dan, CSN&Y, Adele, some Broadway show tunes, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Cream, Pink Floyd...is that soft rock? ancient rock? I don't know the genres.
