If you included certain symbols in your post, such as % signs or colons, the system may be thinking you are trying to add some code to the page. Since QVC doesn't want you doing anything to change the page, the part that looks like code will be flagged as "invalid HTML" and dropped when you post the message.
Thanks,@Gioiella!
Sorry, everyone, I should've been more specific and said "program code." I come from an IT, programming and systems analysis/management background and don't always explain as well as I could.
When you post anything like an emoticon, an image, a link, or you use the formatting options in the toolbar, this uses programming code which normally is invisible to us. And as @Gioiella said, there are certain characters/symbols which the site might try to interpret as programming language. This additional checking for HTML code is looking for embedded or hidden things that might be a problem and actually is better security for us and affords more protection from encountering something harmful in the posts on this forum.

Thank you ladies! I had no idea what they were talking about. I am guilty of putting in several dashes, as if it would be a pause in my thoughts. Almost did it again. I guess that is the problem.

Thanks, @newziesuzie! I usually over-explain things
but this time in my first reply I under-explained!
