I understand completely, @Desertdi. I'm a pro at that stuff, having lived in Houston over 30 years.
By the way, I'm going to a Celtic festival in May. The sponsors always ask the appropriate rescue groups to bring their Celtic dogs. My collie is just too old this year but I hope to take my new sheltie boy.
Ah, a whole day of men in skirts. It amazes me that there are so many serious Celts in Albuquerque, NM.

@Kachina624 Ummm...........I lived in LA for 25 years...........so I'm sorta used to "unusual" attire. The festival sounds like a lot of fun, tho! di

It was a solid black square. On a post in electronics, and 2 posts in here.
Solid Black. I know they go to grey if I have hearted something, that is why the black square confused me.
They are gone now, not sure what was up with that?
@gabstoomuch, Just guessing since I haven't seen this happen (yet!
) but it likely was related to the way the website was interacting with your browser. I've seen some odd alterations to the pages now and then and I usually log out, clear cookies/cache/website data, log back in. That clears up a myriad of technical glitches on the site.

@gabstoomuch To the original poster - I just got one of these. It's not a black heart - it's a black "thumbs up". Must have to do with the board update. It's "thumbs up" liking the post, rather than a hearted post.

Agree. This just happened overnight (on my computer, anyway.)

And now you can remove a heart given in error by just tapping the thumb. Poof! The heart goes away. Slick!
