Re: What does PTO-Approved Pant mean?

Where I worked, "PTO" referred to "paid time off"...

@Mindy D - if May have to do with trademark & registered at the patent office. I’ve seen that on T shirts but I really don’t know for sure.

Casual, week-end or leisure wear, like cotton pants instead of Liquid Knit in SG's case.

I think it's just a funny way to say to wear them on vacation!!!

@LindaSal @After reading what PTO means here, I think that's what Q meant but I don't think that's apparent to everyone when they receive their email promoting the TSV.

Re: What does PTO-Approved Pant mean?

I find other PTO-approved clothing online with no explanation and the only conclusion I can come to is it refers to Paid Time Off.  I guess it's less restrictive than just vacation.

BTW, this thread showed up in my search.

Not everyone has paid time off. I think its an exclusionary phrase, but someone must have liked it.🤑

@Mindy D-PTO in this instance stands for Personal Time Off.  As part of this ad campaign, to take time-off to lounge in Kim Gravel's offering of pants.

Re: What does PTO-Approved Pant mean?

That's kinda weird, iyam.

Is that a hip new phrase with all the fashion houses now?  lol

I remember seeing a reference to *Karen* a long time ago on the home page for a Fit Bit.  And I kept wondering who was Karen?  It said something like 'Beat Karen in your  step totals...'.  That was the first time I heard *Karen* used--generally.
