Good health to my family & all of you.  It has been a challenging year.

@twinny70 Same here. We nearly lost one of our boys. He is on the list for a liver transplant and also had a traumatic brain injury. If his condition improves I'm beyond grateful. I also pray for no world conflct or shootings and killing in this country. The world is a mess now but I guess there is always something historically. I wish everyone here that thier wishes and dreams are granted..

Re: What do you want for Christmas?

@Mellie32 We fought with our neighbors for years who always left two large barking dogs outside. The dogs are now gone but I fear when they retire soon they will get dogs. We aways had Sheep dogs and trained them not to bark. They were inside dogs. My SIL has an Irish Setter that is insane. She is famous for her crazy dog.He barks and jumps on everyone. When she stops by on dogs daily car ride her SUV rocks and people stop to look. She is in her mid 70's and I'm afraid he will really hurt her. He does knock her down. I won't go there anymore. Everyone complains but she won't train him. Sorry I digress.

I want my mom back. She's fully into dementia now and I miss her so much. But I try to remember to be thankful I had such a great mom for almost all my life.

My mom died this week.  All I want is to get through the holidays.

The best gifts are my children. One is staying with me temporarily.  My son is on his 4th deployment but the Army gave him a short leave due to Mom's death.  He, his wife, and twin toddlers arrive here on Tuesday.

I am incredibly sorry for your loss.Sending you a hug and hopes you can take it a step at a time.

Having just gone through this about 3 weeks ago, I sure know how you feel!  You have my deepest condolences.  I was just saying to my husband yesterday --- I don't know how I will get through all of these holidays.  But you have your children and that is a huge blessing.
