My lenses are glass so there's no danger in scratching them. I use dish detergent and paper towel.

I use a wipe (think it is made by Zeiss) with a solution that comes in a packet (keep them in the car, at work, and my purse) that came in a huge box from Sam's club. They are inexpensive, handy, and work great!

I bought a big box of Zeiss individual towelettes from SAMs Club (also sold at Costco). They're great! I can throw a few in my purse and have them at my desk. It's important to use good quality cleaners on glasses.

I also use Zeiss wipes that several of you have mentioned. Here's a little tip. I cut mine in half. Then I can clean two pairs of glasses at a time. I have readers all around the house and I frequently clean them. So, it's good to be able to extend the use of the Zeiss wipes.

For daily cleaning I use a dry microfiber cloth. On occasion I will put my glasses inside my ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. This helps clean under and around the hinges, frames and anywhere else the dirt and oils can hide.

I use these but I still feel like I need to wash them with dish soap every few days are they aren't really clean and the frames need that scrubbing too! LOL!! I have to "degrease" them!

Lens manufacturers suggest you don't use any wood product on your lenses (paper towels, tissues). Always rinse them under water first, use a tad of liquid soap and a soft cloth. If you don't have water, always try to blow any fine particles off of them first. You can also use an ultrasonic cleaner.

I use soap and water once a week. Otherwise I use hot water unless they got particularly dirty. And I always dry with a microfiber cloth.

When I wash dishes I put my glasses in the soapy dish water before I put the dishes in the sink. I wash them gently and rinse with clear water. I use Dawn. My glasses get makeup on the underside of the plastic of my glasses and this cleans them not only the lens but the frame too.

Rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth.
