I believe they are called micro fiber cloths.  they are the bestest glass cleaner for me. I wear glasses most of the time.  They cut the grease-grime on my lenses.

Actually, I have been meaning to post about these great wipes that I have been using.  They are the best, handiest thing for cleaning glasses that I've found.  They are Zeiss lens cleaning wipes, in individual packets.  I ordered a large box from Amazon. I keep a few in my purse at all times.

Sam's has these and they are great.  But I can't STAND not to wash my glasses with dish soap every few days.  The plastic parts get oil from your face and hair on them and I have to get that off.

We buy wipes ast Walmart 100 for around 3 to 4 dollars in the optical dept.

Crizal recommends using a mild non-lanolin dishwashing liquid or a lens cleaning solution and a soft cloth.  I use either a Crizal cloth or pieces of old, soft cotton T-shirts.

Dawn dishwashing liquid and water.  Dry with a paper towel.

I have a microfiber cloth that came with my glasses.  I do run them under cool water and dry with a paper towel when I get make up on them.
