Eating dinner together.  When we were growing up family time was dinner together.  No ringing telephone's answered nothing.

Today,  many families eat at different times doing their own thing.

That makes me sad.  It's just an hour of get together time speaking about your day and taking an interest.

@Pink123  - You brought back memories.  As as child, I ate dinner every evening with my parents at the table.  No tv or phone.  Had to finish all my food and then asked to be excused when finished.  Oh, and we always said grace before eating.

Gosh - times have really changed.  Smiley Sad

Oh @San Antonio Gal  so did we say grace before the meal.

@sunshine45   Your list is exactly like mine except for the coffee.  I only drink tea but my husband drinks just one cup of coffee in the morning and he loves his Keurig pods.

Everything you listed from the top seven could be us.  It's a very comfortable way for us to live.  We do have cell phones but if we have to make a call for an appointment or such we always use our landline.

@Pink123 @San Antonio Gal, I say grace before I pop anything in my mouth.  I am so grateful for anytime I get to eat.  Even all my veggies!! lol

I'm 70 and have NEVER had any mail lost or stolen. I must be the exception....the USPS handles BILLIONS of pieces of mail each year and do an incredible job for what they are faced with. Online bill paying is only convenient for the company or bank not the customer. It is not required to have a computer, internet, passwords, security to drop a letter in the wall at the post office.
