@Cakers3 wrote:So all posters who will not eat there for reasons besides not liking the food - are you saying that all the posters here who do eat there are unkind, non-inclusive, etc.?
I assume you all will not post with them again?
People can choose where to eat but the customers are made up of a very diverse group.
so are the employees....... believe it or not......

In an interview with Bisnow in 2019, Chick-fil-A President Tim Tassopoulos said the company will stop donating to charities with anti-LGBT views.
Chick-fil-A president Tim Tassopoulos said the company would stop donating to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
I was so disappointed that they no longer donated to the Salvation Army. It was such a thoughful program for children. It gave Christmas gifts to needy children. Many of the children had parents who were incarcerated.

You seem to walk the talk. Much respect for you! You dress beautifully too.
Thank you for the kind words and compliments. Hope you have a good day!

@Lakelife62 @wilma. If she really walked the talk she would stand her ground and not eat there. Nobody can "insist" you eat there; the statement comes off as disingenuous.
The "people" she refers to also eat there, in case you didn't know.
To explain...
I was with my sisters on a road trip, amd they wanted to stop there to eat. They know I'd rather not eat there. I wasn't going to start an argument with them over it. My school catered it for a teacher meeting once. Again, wouldn't have been my choice, but I ate it.
On my own, I would never choose it. These are examples of what I meant by "insisting". Perhaps not the best word to use.
I try my best to practice what I preach, but I'm not perfect. There are other companies I'd rather not do business with also. We all make choices based on our own beliefs, and situations at any moment.
Have a good day.

I have never eaten there....ever.
I have eated chicken sandwiches at another local place called Lovebird.

You mentioned Popeye's...........
I don't eat chicken sandwiches from any fast food place, just because I prefer something else.
However, my husband is a chicken sandwich fiend and swears that Popeye's has the world's best.

By the way, the perpetually busy Chik Fil A store near us has just been torn down and a totally new one is to be built there with not ONE, BUT TWO drive-thru lanes.
That should go a long way to keep the locals happy, who line up there at all hours of day and night as long as it's open.
Plus, it's right across the street from a high school, so I'm sure the back-to-schoolers will be happy to see it back. Too bad it has been torn down just as they returned to school for the new year.

It really is good. It is the way at Popeye's and KFC. KFC has the biggest and thickest of the pickles and the chicken breast itself is the biggest. I just wish they would also do the sandwich in the original recipe instead of just the crunchy.
I always wonder what the heck they give those chickens to make those breasts so large.
