Happy HAPPY Birthday to your 80-year-old husband!!! Now THAT is quite a wonderful achievement! Have a wonderful rest of the day and night! Also remember that calories do NOT count on one's birthday... or of course those celebrating as well!![]()

The humming of this computer, clicking of the keyboard, pup barking at the squirrel who insists it's a bird while trying to figure out how to get at the feeder, and a bball game in the background for the rest of the crew with gasps and cheers as needed. It's a peaceful, beautiful Sunday!![]()

DH is yelling at our Lab for taking a new throw pillow with him in the back yard.
We have several old ones there for him to play with but he loves, loves, loves the new.

I hear -silence, wonderful silence.
Actually, it's windy outside so do hear the wind. Too chilly to open a window so can't do that.
This is an interesting post @monicakm because with all that we have going on in our lives and the world, sometimes it's good to just sit, breathe, and listen to what we can hear around us. Thank you for posting.

I hear Tom Hanks voice and the sound of multiple rattle snakes announcing their prescence. "The America's" is currently airing on NBC. Magnificent cinematography!

Those were my thoughts exactly @JudyL
There is so much going on around us all the time from our individual lives to the outreaches of our nation and beyond. The noise in our heads can become unbearable and toxic at times. Weather permitting I like to go outside, take deep breaths of fresh clean air and remind myself of the good in this world and what I have to be grateful for. I visited with my dad today. First time since my husband's been in the hospital. He couldn't verbalize but he understood what I was saying about DH. I told myself I wasn't going to cry but like a daddy's little girl that's exactly what I did 😳 He already knew, my daughter told him when it first happened.
Fun fact... did you know guinea hens like the rain? Those silly things are running around the pastures in this downpour. I thought I was hearing things. So I asked Google about it and Google said that unlike chickens who take shelter in the rain guineas don't mind it.

"Morning Has Broken" was my granddaughter's song. Grandson's song was "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" but I sang that one to both of them.
