Just the furnace.  That won't shut off until June or so.

The big noise every morning is the jays shouting about the small ration of shelled, dry roasted peanuts.  That is over for today.  Geez a little thanks?

I'm sitting here eating my lunch (kale salad with lots of stuff in it) and clacking away on the iPad...I hear cars going by on the road, heat pump clicking on/off (it's freezing here), wind chimes clinking in the wind, dryer and dishwasher running.  No one in house but me which rarely happens!  I will enjoy the peace until everyone comes lumbering in from wherever.

Since I have tinnitus I hear a constant high pitched tone like a steady siren.  I also hear the TV and one of my dogs snoring.
