I prefer those with both likes and dislikes and definite, passionate about them. I find lukewarm people boring. If I'm going to be loved or hated, I want it to be intensely.

The crowds in big cities are mind-boggling during the holidays. I grew up in the NYC suburbs but never ventured into Manhattan until after the new year. A few years ago, my husband and I decided to spend a weekend in NYC before flying out to Florida to visit family for the holidays. I have never seen so many people in my life. Rockefeller Center looked like a sardine can. It was insane!

hahah....i have to agree.....the clean up afterwards...AND putting the decorations and tree away a couple weeks later....exhausting....i think when we put the decorations out we are so excited.....putting them away the house seems

Being by myself. My family (what's left) is not close and I'm not married nor do I have any children or close friends.

havent read any of the responses at all, but wanted to chime in.

i cannot think of one thing that i HATE about the holidays except that they go by too quickly. everything else is great.......and i enjoy the time immensely.

No much, actually--with the exception of having to hear in stores or on the radio Paul McCartney's "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time". I'm a pianist, and that song drives me nuts with it's repetition! Hopefully, the Beetles fans won't get on my case too much!
