I'm a minimalist so my house is always uncluttered. I do use:

Throws

Books

Scented candles

Fresh flowers

I like that my home is small and cozy. I always have wine and coffee for guests.

I had to put some thought into this; I don't actually put any effort into creating joy or happiness in my home. I never had to because I love my family, I love my life and my home so it just happens naturally. The good memories, the happy times are a by product of living my life.

I think it's the feeling of calm my decorating style inspires. (Don't mean that to sound braggy.) My house is cool and chic and has a sense of humor, but it is very calming and relaxing. It's my favorite place to be.

He is incredibly sweet and loving, he just has very intense eyes, LOL!

He was found wandering the streets after some sorry excuse for a human being, doused him in a flammable liquid and set him on fire.

Possibly because he wouldn't 'fight', but who knows.

It amazes us that he can still be so sweet and loving, after that.

We have a sign in our den that says, "Warning! Dog can't hold his 'licker!", LOL!
