@qualitygal

I have more of a problem with when one is considered old. I've found myself saying "that old guy", when factually he may be chronologically my junior.

As far as middle age it is never looked at the same as each person gets a year older. What I know is that chronologically I am old.

40 is the new 30, 50 is the new 40, and 60 is the new 50....So my answer is 55 to 60.

I will add that there are some people who are 45 and appear to be in there 80's. It seems to have a lot to do with how well one takes care of themselves.

@hckynut   But when you are skating around that ice rink, your spirit is young.

Re: What do you consider middle age now?

Forty is the old age of youth and fifty is the youth of old age.

So 40 is still middle aged, no matter how we try to deny it.

And of course, that readjusts on my birthdate every year.

You are a nice lady.

And when my old body is warmed up enough to hit my top speeds and turns easily, it feels young again. A great feeling for sure. Now if only warmup felt easy!
