What did you get for Valentine's Day from your significant other and/or family?

My DH really hit it out of the park. I got a dozen long stemmed roses in a beautiful coral pink, and Edible Expressions fruit arrangement, a big mylar balloon and a DVD of my favorite movie, "Working Girl" that we're going to watch together later tonight. {#emotions_dlg.wub}

What did you get or what did your significant other and/or family do for you?

DH & I no longer exchange gifts - we really don't need anything. But I bought all of the grandkids Kindles and loaded them with books that were age appropriate. They were a huge hit. Reading is fundamental, as they say! I had all of my loved ones here for dinner and we had a great time! Happy Valentines Day to all.

Awww that is fantastic. This weekend I am very sick, went to Dr this am and got rx for sinus infection. My dh and girls have waited on me hand and foot and that was sweet enough for me.

I hope the meds work fast and relieve your sinus infection. How terrific that your family has rallied around you to help you out when you're not feeling well. That is a beautiful Valentine's Day gift.

Thanks, Deb - love my Paperwhite - that's actually what gave me the idea as I love to read and find the Kindle easier on my eyes than books! Glad to hear you enjoy yours too!

Jewelry this year! It's been a while!!

A 14k yellow gold pendant. An original design that I came up with and had created by a favorite trusted jeweler. My SweetieBear's part in it was his approval of the CADS and photos of the finished piece, and access to his paypal account, LOL! Kiss

I LOVE it! Smile

That's sweet! You have a wonderful husband!

My husband got me a bouquet of flowers and a card. He took me out to dinner at our favorite Italian place (locally owned).

I had salad, garlic bread, and seafood linguini! (YUM) And they had free Italian desserts/coffee/tea and gave each woman a long stemmed rose :-)

(Also this place never ups the prices at V Day like most places do!).

My daughter and family gave me a card and candy. My grandkids gave me cards too. My son sends me flowers every year. I give all of them candy and cards.

I also gave my husband a card, candy in a Valentine Box (I made up w his favorite candies), and I baked a cake w whipped cream and strawberries (which we didn't eat yet b/c we had dessert out after dinner).

Happy Valentines Day!
