Another thread made me wonder about this. Did you buy a class ring in HS? Do you still have it? What color is the stone? What does it look like?

Our high school rings were very small in comparison to many schools and rectangular in shape instead of round. The stone in the center is royal blue - supposed to be sapphire - I doubt it - probably glass. Then overlaid on top of the stone is the school symbol in gold. I always thought they were unique and prettier than most other schools rings. My HS boyfriend gave me his ring and I wore it on a chain around my neck - I remember it was so heavy. Some girls would tie yarn around their boyfriend's rings and wear them - it always looked so dirty and gross to me so I chose the neckchain instead. I actually married him and still have both mine and his rings in my jewelry box.
