the beach......i could be there always. who knows?......i might in my later years. i relax and sleep so much better when i am there. i might go in two weeks.
a gin and tonic, extra limes......ah yes......it CAN settle your nerves. LOL
alone time......totally alone and no chance of anyone crashing in on that alone time. in conjunction with that......eating out by myself. a nice time to spend time with the person i love......ME! i consider it a treat.
a long drive to nowhere.......just traveling around and looking around.
talking to my s/o late at night on the phone if we are not together. long distance isnt easy, but it makes it a lot more bearable.

Hi Lotus, I changed it at Christmas to Pepper Minstix and then didn't want to keep my holiday nickname so I chose this one.

I love to watch the sun set. I also love to watch Audrey Hepburn movies. I love to look at my doll collection. If all else fails I order a pizza.

I agree with the ocean. I also like drinking a nice cup of hot tea.
I do notice that I cannot sleep well if I don't regularly exercise. I have friends who complain that they cannot sleep and they have no physical activity in their lives at all. That is why they cannot sleep. I do pilates, the elliptical and once I open my pool, swim everyday. Exercise is important for relaxation and good sleep. It is a great de-stresser too!

I could not agree more. I am fortunate to live across the road from the Atlantic. I love walking on the beach off season. (A bonus is, my dog can be with me off-season)
Music can have a calming effect on me. Air of a G String by Bach always does it for me.

I agree with the nice walk. It's better for me if I'm able to walk the trail or park, but walking the mall helps, too.
