What a wonderful idear !!

I'm watching my first Judith Ripka show. She has said "What a wonderful ideaR" twice now. It sounds so odd to me; I can't find any reference to this pronunciation in dictionaries. Wonder where this extra "R" comes from? (R for Ripka? (-: Just kidding!) Anyone know?
