Good heavens, that's one smart cat. People think you can't train a cat to do tricks but you certainly can. When we were kids, we had a big tiger cat and we trained him to do all kinds of tricks. And my dad taught him how to box. The cat loved it! My dad did too. He'd say "Tiger, put up your dukes and fight!" And the cat would sit up on his hind legs and use his long legs and paws to box with my dad. We also taught him to carry mail from the mail box to the house. We would put the mail in his mouth and he'd race into the house and plop it down at my mother's feet. But he wasn't good a track and field events like this cat!

I taught my stripey cat,Echo , to shake hands (paws). It took awhile but she does it very well.

Awesome cat{#emotions_dlg.wub}

I taught Kitty to follow me around the house and cry until I put a few more kibbles in her bowl, even though she still has some.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}
