@eddyandme Sure!  Come on....what you need to know about Va is we are divided.  You see the upper part (nearest to DC are very .....ummm...from 'out of town')...down here in these parts....we are the opposite...

People down here like to think we're more in the 'country'.  We don't like them there city folks!  Ha!  Really, you could draw a line down Rt395!

Supposedly it's hard to predict what weather or how much we'll get on this side of Va versus nearer the DC side!  When we go to bed we never know what will happen.

This goes on Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall...makes no difference...they talk about this 'invisible' line that means we could have feet or inches...

One thing though...my cat Katie will share...she's crazy and you'll probably never see here (my family have never seen her) and Bill is good unless you go near his food.  That cat wants to eat 24 hours a day! Drives me crazy.  He's famous on the internet.  Turns over the trash (looking for food), opens all of the cabinets (looking for food)...

Everyone says diplomatically, "My goodness!  He's big".  Not just chubby but long!  Come on...we'll work it out...Don't bring any snow with you though...

@QVCkitty1 ... Be careful out there in that snow! I live in Northern Wisconsin so I know what heavy snow is like. I heard on the Weather Channel that this snow is the heavy, wet stuff, and each shovel full weighs 11 lbs. They said that some people with driveways, sidewalks, etc. will be moving as much as 12,000 lbs! Don't forget about the weight on the roof! We haven't had a big snow storm this year. It's been a freaky year. However, many years we have had to get the roof shoveled too by a professional roof shoveling service.

@Annabellethecat66

Been to VA years ago - beautiful state!

Eddy LOVES the snow, but, I promise, we won't bring anyWoman LOL!

Don't worry about Katie and Bill, Eddy prefers 'people food' with his Fromms. I probably have the only furbaby in the world who loves brussel sprouts!!!!!

Keep warm - gonna have a high of 24 this afternoon. Praying for summer to come soon, very, very soon!

@ indoor kitty: your name says it all!  Indoor kitties are meant to stay.....indoors! Preferably, in a nice warm spot near a heat source....

In my neck of the woods we got a total of 18 inches yesterday according to the news. My husband got a jump on it yesterday so we were able to move around our property without a problem. Today he's running the snow blower again and shoveling all the snow out of the back of his truck. Schools in our area are closed again today so there is very little traffic on the local roads.This too shall pass!

You get me, that's for sure. I'm happiest with a book and a hot cup of tea. However a kitty has to do what a kitty has to do. LOL 🐱
