Well I bundled up this AM. and decided to start working on the snow. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't get the back door opened. I finally stuck a broom through a small opening, and worked on it till I got it opened. We have been spoiled around here, as we haven't had a storm like this in a while. This will be a process. LOL.

Take it slow and easy - take breaks - come inside and get warm.  Stay safe!  How much do you suppose you got?

@QVCkitty1 What state are you in that you got so much snow?

I live in Northern Va and we got maybe 2 inches...it's cold though.

I feel for you!  Here in western PA the wind is much worse today and we had more snow overnight and this am than yesterday.  Not a great deal of snow compared to the East but blowing and drifting because of lake effect.  Apparently we have been caught in one of the snow bands.  Crazy, crazy weather!

I'm in NY. right on the Pa. border. We got about 20 inches, and I for one am over it.

I am on the NY/NJ border. We got about 13 inches. Went out to feed the birds. Had a very hard time getting the storm door open. Had to go across deck, down stairs, across patio to the feeder. Snow was over my knees. It wasn't easy. Schools closed yesterday and today. We did have mail delivery yesterday though. LOL.

Add about twenty to that here. Hard to tell, wicked winds and major drifting, plus sleet during blizzard. It took my friend six attempts to make it up driveway. He's got oversized truck and snow was going up to hood so he kept making "snowballs" on side as he went. One snowball, about halfway up is at least as tall as me  Iced in now, and Eddy, my furbaby wants more sweet potatoes, but none left! You got any room for us in VA?Woman Wink

Are you near Binghamton?  They got 31.3" yesterday (!), which was a 24-hour record for them.
