Curtis Stone has a 4.5LB Aussie prime rib on HSN for $149.95 and free shipping.  Comes with his own herbed butter rub!    I never buy food online but I tried this one Christmas and it was delicious and yes reasonably priced for grass fed beef.

I went through Topcashback and got 20% rebate today. I hope the meat eaters in our group will enjoy it! Thanks for mentioning it today.

Shaws and Star Market supermarkets are advertising 6 to 8 lb prime rib roasts for $8.99

a pound.  7lbs for $63.00.  I would stand in line to save $137.00!

I doubt that the $8.99/lb and what's being sold here are the same cut or quality of beef.

I've had "prime rib" (in a restaurant, no less) that was so tough you couldn't cut it with a steak knife.  (And, yes, I sent it back.)

Anyone familiar with beef knows there's a world of difference in the various grades, and the cost reflects that.

I bought 3 prime rib roasts from Sams club one is 5 lbs one is 6 and one is 7, I got all of these for I think 240 dollars, I am having 10 or so people but I want to make sure I have enough and leftovers.  It is also boneless.
