Yesterday I was grocery shopping and had just (5 seconds before) pulled my cart up to the sauerkraut, and I literally had my hand out reaching for a can of sauerkraut. I always pull way over to the side so that I don't block the aisle. This younger woman came up behind me and loudly said, "You're standing right where I need to be!" I'm usually not the most assertive person in the world, but I was already irked because a couple of the products I wanted were out of stock, so I knew that meant I would need to stop at another store. I turned around and said half laughingly, "Sorry, you're going to have to wait your turn, because you want to be right where I'm standing." (The only reason I could even think of what I said was because of a very aggressive woman who I used to work with who used to tell everybody in the office that they were standing where she wanted to be.) So...she ran around my cart, reached in front of me, grabbed what she wanted, called me a B* and went cruising on with her cart. What would you have said?
