I have a small sh*tzu rescue that we adopted last summer. (He came from a bad situation in a kill-shelter down south, but that's another story).
Anyway, he slept with us last night, as he always does, went out on his leash to do his business this morning (we always walk him on a leash because our yard is not fenced in) and after he got back inside, he threw up some yellow-colored bile (no food in it). After I cleaned it up, he threw up a second time, but this time it was clear and foamy). I tell you all of this so you will understand that he didn't have a chance to 'get into something' that would have made him ill.
He is in perfect health now - - worm free and vetted.
He seems OK now, but I can tell he's not 100% himself, because he generally loves breakfast time and he won't go hear his food dish (even for a drink of water) this morning.
