We have a large tree (one of many) out back, and at the very top, where most affected by sunlight, you see the red when it starts coming through.
I haven't seen any hummingbirds here this year. I assume it's the cat that lives next door. But off the deck, I haven't seen them either. Did discover about a week ago, a bee's nest in some bushes. I have a new respect for "busy as a bee" now. Those bees really are busy. They don't bother us,

The sky turning a darker blue. Always notice that first.

It's all that overtime! We're exhausted!

And the Balloon Fiesta...
OK! Those chilies are a real treat for me. I freeze a lot of them every year
They've shipped early this year! An early harvest and a new variety. I think they're calling it "Miss June." It's larger and hotter! Can't wait to meet her.

I already alerted @Sooner about the larger, tastier (hotter!) variety that's being introduced this year. If you don't like it hot, watch out for "Miss June."

@Kachina624 OH BOY THANK YOU!!!!! I am going to OKC Wednesday and Whole Foods sells them roasted and peeled in plastic boxes. They may not be the cheapest, but dang one year I roasted about 15 pounds of them on the grill and in our kitchen and I decided money is no object for roasted fresh peppers!!! LOL!!!!
You might be due for a road trip! (I hope you were wearing gloves when you were working with those chiles!)
