I first notice the leaves changing on the trees and the weather getting much cooler at night.  It is a beautiful time of year except for some of the bees going crazy.

My first thought upon reading this...was the pumpkin and/or flavored coffee drinks they start selling in late summer!!

When I check the weather outside on Sunday and decide to wear boots. Oh wait. That would be winter. Living in southwest Florida it's not easy to tell when fall is here.

First sign of Autumn will sadly be when I no longer hear birds chirping outside my window in the morning . That part I don't like.

As a child, I despised Fall...it was "back to school" time and that's all I associated it with...now as an adult, I truly look forward to it.  It's sad to say goodbye to Summer, but I love the change of seasons and last year we had a beautiful Fall.  Hope this Fall is the same.  This was a saying on one of my desk calendars, and it kind of sums up my feelings of this upcoming season: 

                          "Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile!"
