Okay Everyone. It's still summer and will be for a while. I love it for now and I will have to deal with fall when it gets here.
The worst thing about fall is that it is before winter. Hate winter.

The locusts start singing and we Hoosiers look for frost about 6-8 weeks after that. They started singing about 2 weeks ago. Also, the leaves on my impatience start turning yellow and brown.... as do the cornstalks.

I LOVE FALL !!!

Here in Texas it will be the cessation of the "heat index" and shutting off the A/C. October, maybe? The second half of September usually brings cooler nighttime temperatures and that heralds the approach...

I love fall, but unfortunately, it seems that summer lasts longer and longer around here while fall is shorter and shorter... Growing up, fall really was fall and I loved it... I still do... When we actually get one... I'd also like to see an actual real winter this year for a change...

Hot temps and humidity can last till November/December which ticks me off (lol) but there it is. In MY world...cooler nights so I can open the windows and feel the wonderful breeze; leaves turning colors, a crispness in the air....you just feel it.

Hello, Sooner, Florida doesn't have autumn in the SE section where I live. The fall months are the height of storm season, so watches and warnings are its main harbingers down here. It's hunker-down time, as it is in other seasons in the midwest (Spring) and the north (Winter).

Crisp air, no humidity.

Your pet(s) will have extra energy when the air turns cool and crisp. ![]()
