Oh yes. He or she listed all kinds of uses for peanut butter in a very graphic way. He/she spoke to me about what all he could change if he wanted to in these threads. It was late at night and of course was gone by the morning. If it wasn't a mod, then who was it?

Wowza...the things I am missing by not being here late very often anymore. I used to see some of the strangest ...even some evil things posted here very late.

If I can't sleep, I get on the computer. Sometimes it is in the wee hours of the morning, and there are some unusual things here to be sure. But that one really threw me.

Well......that is certainly confirmation enough for me. If you think it's equal....then it must mean that the other side is really getting skewered in the edit department.

I don't see how it could be disputed. The edited by tag is right there in black and white. And it happens to many posters. That's why I find the edit family accusation absurd.

Some of us get "edited" when we simply say hello. Truth. Perhaps that's why I have a much different opinion than you.

True. And that too, happens to several posters. I've seen it happen to NoelSeven.

I have not had experience that I know of regarding someone else editing me. To the best of my knowledge any editing that is on my posts is my own editing. I don't get how the thing you are talking about works.

You should have called corporate and took screen-shots of the thread to prove you weren't making it up. That sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I didn't call anyone. I was so surprised that I was stymied. I guess it was my fault because I said in my thread for him to find a reason to poof a thread on peanut butter. That was an open challenge, and he or she rose to the occasion. The other experience I have had, which many of you also have had is a thread that is full of racism, etc. staying up hour after hour, sometimes into days, and no matter how many reports are done on it, the thread still stands. There used to be a poster who loved to post stereotype pictures and cartoons that were just horrendous. It took forever to get those removed. Many people were reporting it. It's just something I can't explain other than the mod wants those to stay up. What other explanation is there?

I agree with you, RCG. The mods have been a little hinky with me a few times. I think they're trying to make a point or something.

Definitely abuse of power, though.
