Here in my part of NE PA we are back to hot and like a sauna. Yesterday was great. We had a 7/8 day heatwave sweltering. Yesterday was a very welcome break. We are to get some severe storms later this evening then back to 80 or so and no humiddity for Thursday aannd Friday.

it would most helpful if everyone put a general area of where they live.

outside of philly, SE PA, right now 93 degrees, real feel 98.

storms expected later today/tonight. wind could be damaging.

Southern end of WV is 87, sunny, with a light breeze. We are just barely inside the area to experience severe thunderstorms this evening. Things are getting noticeably dry, but we are not in a severe situation.

97, sunny and 68% humidity In Williamsburg, Va. It's awful outside, only early brief walks today.

   In Colonial days behind the Governor's Palace is an ice house build into a hill. Ice was stored there from Winter so they could have ice cream in the Summer.
I can't imagine how hot their heavy clothing was in the Summer. The tourists are hot in shorts!
