Never heard of such a thing (the banana saver) though I do have a banana hanger that belonged to my dad, that has a Harley-Davidson logo on it.  We do really use it daily.

If I can't use an entire banana I freeze it for use in smoothies.

I bought the Cooking Light meat shredder. K79673... thanks to RA I have hand issues so this will be a big help to me.

I have a jar opener that I love.  Dont know where I got it but over the years the handles broke and DH taped together.  I have been looking for one ever since.  Did you buy it recently that they may still have them and what was it named?

@NickNack   That is not the one I have that I'm trying to find a replacement of, but it looks handy.  Does it open wide jars such as mayonaise jars for instance?
