I have a niece named Karen. I know one like her. Over the years she has proved to be one of a kind. Her father is my brother. He always says Karens Karen.

Yes. And certainly not a Boomer.

More importantly, it's considered the "basic white person's [woman's] name:

It has become very popular. Reason being the hilarious Smudge the Cat memes. He's sitting at a table in a restaurant with a plate of salad. Karen is something like a former girlfriend. Karen is evidently in the restaurant and has spotted Smudge so she starts yelling accusations and pointing at him. She is a very pretty blond. He looks bored and responds with the funniest one-liners you can imagine. So clever, I actually laugh out loud. That's why you see references to Karen herself or being a Karen, all the time these days. Look for them online if you want to laugh your head off.

Those are hysterical.   I believe the blonde is one of the housewives from one of those Housewives of (insert location).

There are so many but two of my favorites are

Karen shouting "Last Christmas I gave you my heart" and Smudge says one word, "Regifted"

Karen points and shouts "You said I was the love of your life" and Smudge says "I have nine lives"

I am not aware of the name Karen meaning something other than the name itself.  Personally I find it silly and not a word I would use.

I have a friend named Karen, I have known her since the fifties.  She came from a humble middle class home.  Fast forward when all of us in our circle of friends went into social service and teaching jobs, Karen worked in the business world and made very good money.  She was , always moving forward, taking on jobs which caused resentment by men.  Karen retired when she was around fifty.  By then she was a millionaire, had many investments and was a success.  When I hear the name Karen, she is the one I always think of and she was far from the slang description.  She is not a snob, doesn't have airs and basically still the Karen I grew up with.

@Vivian Agree - this will pass. I have two friends named Karen. Boomers. Both say they get why younger generation is annoyed with privileged white woman. My Karen friends know this will pass. They have good attitudes and joke about it.

It's become a thing - referring to someone with similar characteristics by the name of someone on a tv show or in s movie.  I believe in this case it refers to the character on Will and Grace.

Boomers are those born between 1946 and 1964.
