What I Accomplished Today

[ Edited ]

So..........I have an iPod Nano 2GB DS and DDIL bought for me about 15 years ago.  Still works great, amazing.

But transferring iTunes from old computer to this one-something isn't going so well.  I can still move music in the Library back and forth to the iPod but I cannot load new music.

So DH bought a new MP3 player for me and I set it up all by myself.

Don't laugh because the iPod is the only device I ever learned alone.

If I the universe depended upon me to be techno-savvy, we'd all be dead.

2nd accomplishment:  Short-changing the roofer today.

By $100.  Thank goodness he is a good friend of DS.  Poor guy had to turn around and come back.

3rd accomplishment: Squirting myself in the face with my liquid hand soap.  Thank goodness I had on my eyeglasses.

4th accomplishment:  Made coffee while forgetting to put coffee in the filter.

5th accomplishment: Resisting eating the whole pint of Pistachio gelato. I hear it, I hear my name, I peek at it in the freezer, but I behave.  At least for another hour.

There is a pattern here.  LOL

What have you done today besides hang around here?  LOL

First impression: Yes , there is a pattern there.  Dh ridicules you too readily.  Find something constructive for him to do.

@Cakers3

I apologize I thought I read /you asked us "what we accomplished today"....

Would have been a good day for you to do like I did...😉

It can only get better I've had days like yours alot lately🤷‍♀️

~~~~~
Not one thing🙂🙂🙂
It was storming this morning, dark and dreary.   I didn't feel well so I snuggled up in a blanket and didn't get up until 11--a first in a long time for me!!!
I'm usually up by 6-7 and raring to go and accomplish a lot.
Not today in fact, just told spouse he's on his own for dinner.  I'm taking a day off🙂
Re: What I Accomplished Today
@Cakers3  You have had a busy day!  My day was working in the yard for a couple hours... blowing off the driveway...watering...and I pruned back the new growth on two big hedges in the backyard.
Here in  another month it will be getting to be leave fall time...I spend hours raking🙁. My husband never helps me in the yard..... never even offers. But that is par for the course.....
Re: What I Accomplished Today
I kept reading your post and thinking "so proud!" on repeat!  Until the ice cream.  Go for it.  You owe it to yourself, nobody else need comment.
I started the day doing something but I got lost somewhere.  I have to retrace my steps.
@Kachina624   Nah.  The pattern is about my "accomplishments".
DH is a good person and I do enjoy making him laugh.
@Free2be    And I see his Heath bars in the back of the freezer under the frozen peas.  I think I'll hide them on him.
