What happened?  I was typing about the empty spaces in my grocery store and a pink message popped up and said something like  the subject was no longer found?

@Annabellethecat66 The thread was probably deleted for some reason.

Yes, I've had that happen quite a few times.  I'm typing a response and before I can hit "post", the thread has been deleted by one of the mods.

I've only known it happen, when a thread gets too controversial or off-topic.

Yes, same thing happened to me and I was in the process of scrolling down some replies to anothers posting. I had to re-sign in and had a hard time finding the forums.

@Annabellethecat66

As many posts as you have written, I am surprised this is the first time this has happened to you. For me it's been numerous times. Maybe it's the contents or title of the threads I choose to add my comments.

Never had it while typing, but too many times to remember, when I hit "post"! That is when I have encountered this most often.

@Annabellethecat66   The thread had been removed.  Very simple.  And I have also had it happen in the middle of typing a response, too.

Thank you. That is Toby who wandered up to our house many winters ago. He was just a kitten when we brought him in to join our house full of other felines. At one time we had 13 Indoor Only, and now we have only 2.

Toby was like a part of my body. If I sat down he would be right next to me. Slept with me in my recliner every night I was home.

Unfortunately about 3 weeks ago I found him dead on the other side of the door. I was going from our patio room into our house. He had probably went into the house to use his litter box, and died suddenly coming back. We have a out kitty door between the patio room and our house.

I was shattered and still haven't gotten over him. We had him cremated just as we did all our others. His urn right now is sitting next to me on an end table, and will be somewhere close to me in our patio room at all times.

I have that same picture of him in a frame on his urn. We have have at least 30+ felines over the years, but Toby was 1 of a kind, and we miss him dearly.

We have 2 black felines left, the oldest being Tiny, she is 20 years old. She wandered up with her 8 kittens long ago. We fed them and adopted all of them out except Tiny, and her son Cruiser, who was a Tuxedo. Since last August we have lost 5 of our furry family members.

For various health reasons we had to make the decision to euthanize all but 2 of them. Sadie I found deceased in my wife's bedroom one morning.

Just 2 weeks prior, her litter mate sister, Molly we had to euthanize. We believe Sadie died of s broken heart because she was the healthiest of them all before Molly was no longer with her.

We also have Lily, a mix breed that my wife rescued from Kansas City, about 7 years ago from a No Kill Shelter. Our once full home is now down to 3, and it seems very empty now.

Long story, but that has and is me, on these forums for close to 20 years now. Thank you again, Toby was as good as a person could ever ask for in a furry family member.   ♥️

@hckynutjohn    I am sorry about your sweet Toby.  You and your wife are very kind people to rescue and give a loving home to so many precious cats. I know its very difficult when they pass. In the past 2 years, I had to put 3 of my cats to sleep. I absolutely believe that all animals have souls and that they all go to heaven. You will see your Toby again, as well as all your other kitties. Thank you for being so compassionate and kind to the animals.

I also had a cat named Lily.  She was a stray who wandered into our yard one day.  I fed her and well, you know the rest.

I now have 2 cats, Sophie and Gianna.  Both rescues and very spoiled. I like to think that my Lily, who passed in September, helped to welcome your Toby to Rainbow Bridge.

Sending hugs to you and your wife.
