Yesterday and today have been beautiful  finally.  High 60s and sunny.  I actually have a couple of windows open.  Best of all my furnace is not running.

Two weeks ago it was sub zero and brutal.

It is to go down some but it will still be better than what it was.

Has your weather gotten better?  I hope everyone is out of the dangerous deep freeze that has been winter 2026 in the northeast.

Yes, much better. Saw my first robin yesterday and more today. Not gonna last, though. I think I saw the "S" word in the forecast next week.

@CrazyKittyLvr2  It's still winter in the northeast.  By Friday it will "remind" us he ain't gone nowhere.

Yes, southern WV has been warmer for the last week.  It has been nice to turn the thermostat down and open windows for several hours each day.  Our March blizzards hit on the 13th and 18th, so I'm enjoying the warm days, but still aware winter is not yet over.

Yes 74 degress right now! No jacket and no boots because most of the snow is gone. Back into the 30s Thursday though and snow on Friday that hopefully doesn't amount to anything.

Central PA here. Just came in from a walk. 77 degrees!! Heaven!!

It was actually 72 degrees here in Southeastern Wisconsin yesterday, today though is low 40's and going down, next Monday its supposed to be mid 20's again.

We usually don't see Spring until April -usually mid to late April at that......

Its still  better than blizzard and sub zero temps though!!!

Same thing is going on out West.    We've had 90's in Phoenix in February...which is "usually" our coldest month.

We have also had two really nice days.  I worked a bit in the back yard but it is so wet that I just stopped...and then tonight heavy rain and storms.  This weekend is back down in the 30's...but I have to remember it's only March.
