England beat Germany 2 nil in Euro cup yahoo.

Mark Cavendish - who everyone said was 'washed up' just won his sprint in today's Tour de France - so exciting - so pleased - he is my hero.  Perfect day!  Hope everyone else's is good too.

@dulwich  Don't forget Andy Murray won his match at Wimbledon. Congrats on the win against Germany.

My DH is British, so we had it on.  While we're thrilled for the England team, we think it was shameful for the British fans to boo during the German national anthem.

I've just been in touch with a friend in England who's a football fan and she agreed.  No excuse for booing during any other country's national anthem.  So disrespectful and no class.

I hope there is no repeat of that behavior.

@dulwich

Hope your back is improving.

If not, I suggest a warm dog compress.

@Drythe   Still got the back!  But I discovered the heating pad so while watching my sports sitting with 2 cushions, very upright,  plus heating pad bliss!  But do not discount warm dog that is the best!
