Run you say, Heiress? I haven't done that in years.
You should be more selective when, where, and at what time to do your running or jogging. Did you warm up first and stretch afterwards? That's important to avoid injury.

Very true rondell! Unfortunately, I didn't stretch afterwards and I really paid for it! Haha... I should just stick with my treadmill on cold days like these. Lessoned learned my friend!

Good girl! I'm going to stick to walking on my treadmill.
I don't think I could run if it meant my life.

Be careful ......... not much fun having joint problems later on in your 50's and 60's. Never run on uneven ground/sand/etc. I know too many ortho docs and nurses who have seen thousands of patients who ""over-did"" (Is that a word?) the running when they were younger.

I have been a runner for thirty-ish years. No real problems until 2 weeks ago.. (I haven't been running in a month) I woke up with extreme nerve pain on top of my foot. I can't walk on it...until I am pain free per dr/chiro orders.....go figure. I think everyone's body is different. I guess I'll be posting a lot more since I am injured.

Heiress ~ Non weight-bearing until I can....which is utterly impossible...I am a mom and need to get stuff done......I walk around for a few hours, then rest and ice.....I am going stir crazy....thanks for asking!
