Looks like we will be hit with hard rain thanks to Harvey.

Off to get water and perishable foods and bring patio furniture into garage.

@qvcfreak  Yes, it sounds as though you might get wet.  Get your bread and milk and stay safe.

Well, we don't want rain.  We have had more than our share. I just went out and emptied the rain gauge, which ran over last night. It holds five inches.  We are just North of New Orleans, so we will be in the direct rain path - to the East of the storm. I think I honestly would prefer being in the diredt path of the storm itself rather than on the wet side this time. We are already very wet - yards are soggy and grass can't be cut.  Miserable storms every afternoon (and some mornings).  Glad when the summer weather is over.

@qvcfreak@quadmimi  Please be safe.   This is a serious storm and I feel for those of you along the Gulf coast.

Lots of preparations going on already.  Even our area will have flooding and we are inland.

Days of rain is going to be a great concern for everyone.

@Cakers3, thank you. I just came back with 6 sandbags and placed 3 in the front door and 3 in the back. This is a new home so don't know what to expect. Hoping and praying for the best.
