I just went to heart a post, and instead of the heart going gray, and the count box saying "1" , it changed to a "thumbs up".

With the site being wonkier than usual, maybe this was a one time glitch?

@Anonymous032819   I just hearted your post to see what it would do, and it's still a heart.  I've had a hard time hearting posts today though.  I usually have to click on it twice.

No thumbs up for me, but at least it posted the heart @Anonymous032819 .  It was having trouble doing that earlier.  Probably will again.

@Anonymous032819

That happened to me when I tried to heart a post earlier, during the 'processing..... gray bar' error messages, but now it's gone back to hearts for me.

IMO that is waaaaay down the priority list of things to be concerned about nowadays. Please don't let these forums become all that important to you. Now here is an intentional 👎.

The site was a bit wonky earlier, maybe it was sleepy.  Seems to be more stable now.

            Good observation, @Anonymous032819!   Sometimes we have to look quickly to see this bizarre little glitch.   I noticed the "thumbs up" icon this morning when I was trying to add hearts to a few posts.   One post offered a heart, the next one directly below it displayed the thumbs up.

            It seems to be associated with the Khoros (formerly Lithium) web hosting software that (I think) offers the site management a choice of type of "kudos" -- either a thumbs up or a heart.   I've noticed the thumbs up sneaks in when the site slowdown happens, especially with the dreaded message:

"Your request is currently being processed..."

            I'm just guessing, but when we see a major slowdown, and trouble hearting posts, trouble submitting responses or uploading images, etc., the site also goes wonky with its settings.   We see it switching between the 2 "kudos" options as a part of the instability.   The system gets confused.😜

            I have an old screen shot from reporting this last summer, so I'll add it here.   The icon in real time looks more like a dark blue instead of the black that appears in my pic.

            I have too much time on my hands 😀🙃 and decided to join in the discussion.   I agree with @Drythe, questions are good!
