I live in NYC, we get four seasons (it's really pretty much two, Winter and Summer), anyway it has been chilly the last three days. I pulled out my long sleeve shirts and sweaters and put away the short sleeves. The flannel pjs have come out as well as the Fall and Winter coats. I think this is the earliest I have ever switched over my wardrobe. In the back of my mind I can here my mother who has passed saying throw on a sweater, I'm not putting the heat on until October 14. In her honor I will wait.

I live in Wisconsin, and last week it was very chilly and rainy, this week it is 60's and low 70's and sunny! So I don't think we will get the Fall weather again this week, although it does get quite chilly at night-love to sleep with my windows open!

Actually, the Autumnal Equinox isn't until tomorrow, marking the first day of fall, where there will be equal number of hours of daylight and darkness.
Today is the last day of Summer.

My father was the same way. Come May 15th it was off, that was the end of that, lol!

I really do not care for fall at all. Most likely because it is a signal that the season I love most is coming to an end. Not to dispair, we will be heading back to our tropical paradise in a few short weeks. I am just thankful that the trees haven't started to turn yet. I love GREEN and sunshine. ![]()

Fall is my favorite season. Just love the crisp cool air.
I too live in NYC, NYC is spectacular with the clear air---- terrific skyline.
My dd lives by the Hudson and Bear Mountain, no color change yet, but soon.
Great macs (apples) this year.

@Jordan2 Actually, it's not officially fall until tomorrow. It's still quite warm in the Southwest, mid 80s days where I am, over 100 in Phoenix. It is quite chilly at night. I haven't put my short sleeve shirts away yet.

@Anonymous032819 I know tomorrow is the first day of Fall, I meant for ME it's officially Fall because I switched over my wardrobe.

@Jordan2 , we are welcoming Fall with Tropical Storm Teddy. It is a very wide system and they keep changing landfall. We are preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
Like you, here in Nova Scotia we have pulled out the warmer sweaters, flannel jammies, etc. I was eyeing my flannel sheets this morning. Not duvet weather yet but flannel sheets sound good! LM
